Where It All Began
NŌR was born from a simple frustration shared by many healthcare professionals: the struggle to find shoes that could keep up with the demands of long shifts, meet strict infection control standards, and still look stylish
As a nurse, I experienced first-hand the toll uncomfortable, impractical footwear can take. Tired of compromising between comfort, durability, and washability, I decided it was time to create something new.
NŌR is more than a shoe brand — it’s a tribute.
Crafted in Portugal, where my roots run deep, each pair is made by skilled artisans who carry generations of craftsmanship in their hands. By producing in Portugal, I am not only giving back to the land that shaped me, but also supporting the tradition of quality shoemaking that the country is known for.
But shoes are only the beginning. With NŌR, I wanted to build more than a product — I wanted to build a community. A place where healthcare professionals from all over the world can connect, share their experiences, and prioritize their own wellbeing. The NŌR Community was created to give back to those who spend their lives caring for others, offering support, inspiration, and a sense of belonging.
